Maintenance Officer required for August 2025;
Full-time, permanent (37 hours per week, all year round)
Please note that the shift patterns can be negotiated for the right person and a reduction to a 30 hours per week position will be considered on request.
Term Time Hours:
4 days per week split shift:
6.00 am – 10.30 am & 3.30 pm – 6.00 pm
1 full day per week:
6.00 am – 4.00 pm with 1 hour break to be scheduled (day to be agreed with the appointed person)
During School holidays, hours are more flexible and can be arranged in discussion with the Headteacher.

The Governors would like to appoint an outstanding and highly committed person to join our excellent team of dedicated staff in the position of Maintenance Officer for the school.
This post is suitable for experienced caretakers, looking for the next stage in their career or experienced trades people looking for new experiences in a different position.
The successful candidate will be:
- Proactive, using initiative and looking out for areas of improvement at all times
- Highly motivated, determined to ensure the highest possible standards within the role
- Competent and efficient within all areas outlined on the person specification
- An effective communicator, keeping systems running and working with staff effectively and positively
- Dedicated and committed as a key member of the staff team
- A confident user of computers – developing new, electronic systems for checks and record keeping.
